Making contributions to First State Super

First State Super’s contribution processing system is very flexible. Generally, there are two options for sending contribution data and three options for making payments.

When we receive your first contribution, we will register your details and issue you with your Employer Code. You should quote your Employer Code in all future dealings with the Fund.

Submitting contribution data

  • Option 1 Online returns
Before you can use our online services, you have to register for an online User ID and Password. You can register by completing an online registration form that is accessed by clicking Employer/login. Once the registration process is complete, we will email your User ID and Password as well as details of how to use the Employer online facility.
  • Option 2 Paper-based returns
A completed Employer contributions and remittance advice for Personal Division members form (PDF 176kb) must be sent with each payment. Note that this form is also used to provide certain information on a once-only basis the first time you complete the form.

Please note that from 1 July 2007 where a tax file number has not been quoted to First State Super, concessional (employer) contributions will be taxed at the top marginal tax rate plus the Medicare levy and non-concessional (after tax) contributions cannot not be accepted and will be returned to the remitter.

Submitting your payment

You have three options for sending money to First State Super:

1. Cheque
2. Electronic Funds Transfer (use your Employer Code as your unique identifier)
3. Direct deposit (use your Employer Code as your unique identifier).
