Our members

First State Super is open to anyone who is eligible to be a member of a superannuation fund so you and your family now have greater flexibility and access to the Fund:

• First State Super is a not for profit fund,
• any employer can now contribute to First State Super on behalf of its employees who are members of the Fund,
• if your employer provides Choice of Fund and First State Super is not their default fund, you can ask your employer to make contributions on your behalf to First State Super. See here for more details.  
• regardless of where you work, you can keep your account balance in First State Super and contribute to the Fund,
• your family members can also join First State Super (restrictions apply to persons over age 65),
• your superannuation will be in a low fees environment,
• you can transfer your account balance into a Retirement Income Stream or Transition to Retirement Income Stream and receive an income in retirement.
