Our insurance cover
Have you considered how you (or your family) would manage if you became seriously ill or injured and unable to work? Who would cover your mortgage/rent, credit card payments, and other living expenses?
Insurance through super can help to protect your assets and income against future uncertainties without impacting your take-home pay. Your premiums are deducted from your super account, so you don’t have to worry about when and how premiums are paid.
We provide a range of flexible insurance options available to eligible members including death (including terminal illness) & total and permanent disability cover and income protection.
Who is eligible for cover?
Automatic cover for employer sponsored division members
New members aged between 15 and 70 who receive superannuation guarantee contributions from a participating employer, may receive automatic insurance cover with 3 units of Death and Total and Permanent Disability (TPD) cover upon joining us. You may also be eligible for start-up bonus cover.
Cancelling automatic cover: you can opt out of or reduce your automatic cover. To do this, please use the
Application to reduce or cancel insurance cover form. If you decide you want cover in the future, you will have to go through the full application process.
Personal division members
If you join our personal division (your employer is not a participating employer), you can apply for insurance cover to protect against unexpected events which may cause financial hardship.
