Transitioning to Retirement

If you are over 55 and still working, you may be able to start drawing down on some of your super as an income stream. Thanks to recent Federal Government changes to superannuation, this could be a tax-effective way to reduce your working hours if your employer agrees (or continue to work full time) as you near retirement, boost your super or simply increase the amount of money you are receiving!

  • Costs involved in running an SMSF (investment, administration, audit, compliance etc).
  • How much super is needed to set up an SMSF.
  • How much time is required to run an SMSF effectively.

  • What these costs and requirements mean for your super saving over time.
