How do I change the insurance cover I already have?

Answer

You can vary or cancel any or all of the insurance cover in First State Super at any time by completing and returning the appropriate form.

To increase or apply for new cover you can either:

• apply online and be assessed immediately through Insurance Express. Login to your account and visit the Insurance page
• complete and return the Application for insurance (or to increase your current insurance benefit) form. The insurer will assess your application and you will receive written notice of the outcome.

To reduce or cancel your insurance cover you will need to complete and return the Application to reduce or cancel insurance cover form. Once insurance is cancelled, if at any time in the future you wish to reapply you will need to complete and return the Application for insurance (or to increase your current insurance benefit) form. Cover will not commence unless your application is accepted by the insurer.
