Thank you to everyone who entered our Win an Apple iPhone competition. The winners have now been drawn and notified.

Competition Terms & Conditions

  1. The competition “promoter” is FSS Trustee Corporation (FTC) ABN 11 118 202 672, as the trustee of First State Superannuation Scheme (First State Super), Level 16, 83 Clarence Street Sydney NSW 2000.
  2. Information on how to enter and prizes forms part of the conditions of entry.
  3. By entering the competition, you acknowledge that you have read and understood and agree to be bound by these conditions.
  4. To be eligible to enter the competition, you must be a current member of First State Super at the time that the prize is drawn.
  5. During the promotional period eligible entrants must either (a) add a new valid email address to their online First State Super member account or (b) update their existing email address with a new valid email address to their online First State Super member account. If the email address provided is the same as the entrant’s existing email address, the entry is not valid. If the entrant’s email address not provided to their own online First State Super member account the entrant may not participate in the competition. 
  6. By entering the competition you agree to receive emails from FTC from time to time.
  7. Employees of FSS Trustee Corporation ABN 11 118 202 672 (FTC) and their immediate families and its service providers, suppliers, associated companies and agencies are ineligible to enter.
  8. FTC in its absolute discretion reserves the right to verify the validity of all entries and to disqualify any entrant that tampers with the entry process including submitting an entry that is not in accordance with the conditions of entry.
  9. The competition opens Friday 5 March 2010 and entries must be received by Midnight (AEST) Monday 31 May 2010, when the competition closes.
  10. The draw will take place at 10.00 am (AEST) Friday 4 June 2010 at Level 16, 83 Clarence Street Sydney NSW 2000.
  11. No responsibility will be taken for late, lost or misdirected entries.
  12. The first five valid entries drawn from all entries will each win an Apple iPhone 3GS 16GB. Each iPhone is valued at $879 and the total value of all five prizes is $4,395. The promoter will not be responsible for any extra fees associated with the prize (for example carrier-unlock fee, SIM card, other network or data charges). The winners will be responsible for paying for all associated charges. The prize is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash.
  13. Winners will be contacted via a phone call and emailed on the same date as the draw and FTC will record the winner’s address details so that the prize can be awarded.
  14. If after three months of the draw date a prize winner does not answer their phone or respond to the email, the prize remains unclaimed. An unclaimed prize redraw will occur on Monday 6 September 2010 to select a replacement winner.
  15. After the individual winners are announced the prize will be ordered in the individual winner’s name direct from Apple and delivered to the individual winner.
  16. The prize winners’ details will be published in The Daily Telegraph Friday 18 June 2010, and if an unclaimed prize redraw occurs the prize winners’ details will be published in The Daily Telegraph Friday 10 September 2010.
  17. The winners may be required to provide to FTC proof of membership for verification purposes in order to claim a prize. Any winner that cannot do so forfeits the prize and the prize will be awarded to the next entrant drawn whose entry is valid and meets the requirements of this condition.
  18. The judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  19. FTC is will not liable for any damage or loss suffered as a result of taking the prize.
