Who can join First State Super?

Our membership is open to anyone eligible to join a super fund.

How can family and friends join?

They can join by completing the application form at the back of the Member Booklet Product Disclosure Statement (PDS).

Call our “family and friends” hotline on 1800 422 889 or email us at newmember@firststatesuper.com.au and we will send you the application form with the PDS.

 

Family and friends can join:

Personal division: Generally for those who are either working or not working but have not retired.

  • Family and friends can consider transferring other super accounts to First State Super, for more information click here. 
  • If they are working they can ask an employer to contribute to First State Super. They should complete the Standard Choice form and return it to the employer. 

Income stream division: Generally for those who are transitioning to retirement or have retired and want regular income from their super.

  • Family and friends may want to consolidate their super before starting an income stream. Once opened, they cannot add to an income stream account. For more information click here.
